Qualification
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field is required.
Preference
- Industry certifications, such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), can enhance career prospects.
- 3+ years of experience with network design, implementation, and maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Design and Implementation:
Planned and implemented hardware and network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices.
- Maintenance and Support:
Maintain and troubleshoot network equipment, providing technical support to users and other IT personnel.
- Performance Monitoring:
Monitor network performance, identify potential bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize network efficiency.
- Security:
Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security protocols.
- Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues that affect network performance and connectivity.
- Collaboration:
Collaborate with other IT professionals, including network architects, system administrators, and security specialists.
- Documentation:
Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, security policies, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Stay Current:
Keep up-to-date with the latest network technologies and industry trends.
Skills:
- Networking Knowledge:
Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), network topologies, and network security principles.
- Hardware Expertise:
Familiarity with networking hardware, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices.
- Troubleshooting Skills:
Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues that affect network performance and connectivity.
- Communication Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively with other IT professionals, users, and vendors.
- Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to identify and resolve complex network issues.
- Security Knowledge:
Understanding of network security principles, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security technologies.
- Scripting and Automation:
Experience with scripting and automation tools can be beneficial for managing and automating network tasks.
- Cloud Computing:
Familiarity with cloud networking technologies and services.
